GeoGLIDER centralizers come as a standard design and a wholly Geopro solution, the Xtreme centralizer range. Standard GeoGLIDER centralizers are solid rigid body centralizers with 4 to 6 blades wrapping around 270 deg of the circumference of the centralizer. The centralizer blades can be skewed from the axis of the tool depending on the application and what can be achieved within engineering and manufacturing limits. These systems are suitable for all well types and can be manufactured with different types of materials depending on well objectives. GeoGLIDER centralizers are classified into the following:
This is a non-welded zinc alloy or aluminium alloy rendering of the centraliser with friction factors between 0.25 – 0.35.
This is a non-welded aluminium alloy rendering of the centraliser with an all round teflon coating. This provides much reduced friction factors as low as 0.1.
This is an ultra low friction Thermoplastic rendering of the centraliser. This uses a high tensile strength thermoplastic with fibrous teflon strips. Friction factors are as low as 0.05 in fluid medium.
This is a non-welded steel rendering of the centraliser designed for the most rigorous applications where extensive reaming is required.

These are purpose-built centralizers designed to ensure minimum impact of formation with a reduced hydraulic diameter compared to the competition. This makes this the perfect accessory for running tubulars (casing, liners, completion strings and screens) in high angle and highly deviated wells.
